Rent the Perfect Bachelorette Party

Posted By: Christy Bamber

I still can’t believe I never had a bachelorette party. When I got married last year, there just wasn’t time to get everyone together, my wedding was tough enough with all of us living in numerous countries and my crazy travel schedule. If I was doing one now, these are the things I would rent for it…

1. Party Bus: Let’s face it, there’s bound to be at least some drinking during the bride’s final moments of singledom. With a party bus, travel time become a destination. Plan an elaborate city-wide scavenger hunt or just go for an all night dance party on wheels.

2. Private Event Space: A great way to take your festivities up a notch. If the budget is tight, explore private dining at a great restaurant; for a jaw-dropping (but probably pricey) affair, rent out loft space, fill it with the bride’s favorite things and party like no one is watching (because they aren’t!)

3. Hotel Suite: Remember how much fun sleepovers used to be? You can give the bride the ultimate sleepover (with room service!) in a classy hotel. With everyone sharing one room, you can nab a luxe locale without spending a fortune.

4. Entertainment: I’m using this term loosely and metaphorically. I think we all know what kind of dancers typically cater to bachelorettes. If you don’t catch my drift, go watch Magic Mike XL.

6. Instructor: One of the newest trends in bachelorette parties is a BYOB painting night. While many ladies will head to a dedicated studio for free-flowing wine and art instruction, it’s just as easy (and even more fun!) to rent an instructor that will bring the fun to you!

7. Private Jet: This rental delivers a wow factor your favorite bride won’t ever forget. It doesn’t even have to be that expensiveif your group is large enough, and everyone pays their own way, flying private can actually be cheaper than traveling commercially. Check out services like JetSuite.com, which connects travelers to private jets with seats that need filling.

As a bridesmaid or maid-of-honor, the critical task of planning the bachelorette party rests solely on you and the rest of the bride’s attendants. Don’t let her down!
