From fish and chips to beer on the Black Sea, our next stop was Nessebar (sometimes spelled Nesebur) in Bulgaria, one of the oldest towns in Europe. We only had one day here, and it was chilly, so I skipped Sunny beach, even though it’s considered one of the best on the Black Sea.

Well, we’ve arrived in Romania, docking in Constanta, It’s a cool town, with a busy military port that keeps it moving. On a past visit, my husband and I walked the promenade at Ovidiu’s square, but this trip we opted to drive the 2.5 hours to Bucharestand it was so worth it!
